Landscapes
These photos are taken in Manchester, Michigan and include a far hot with a hill, and a closer zoom of some trees. What I think is unique about these photos is the color of the sky in the first one being a purple-blue mixture which is kind of uncommon to see. In the second one I like how there is a blend of colors all contrasting including green, yellow, and red. The feeling I was trying to convey with these photos is a somber feeling full of some sadness and confusion.
These photos are also taken in Manchester, Michigan and are of a woodland environment. There is a further away photo taken on a slope giving it an interesting perspective and a photo taken more up close of the plants and trees. I like how there are two different perspectives of the same area, one giving us a fuller look and the other giving a more detailed one. The feeling I was trying to convey with these was a feeling of personal growth and change.
These photos were taken in Frankenmuth, MI and consist of trees all in the same are just a few feet away from each other. I think what is unique about these photos is the sky and how these were taken just a few minutes apart but angle and focus were able to completely change the color of it. With these photos I tried to convey a feeling of positivity vs negativity and how looking at the same thing in different lights can change the outcome.
These photos were taken in Ann Arbor, MI and consist of a pond and some natural greenery growing around it. There are two different angles used in the two photos. One being the plants in front being used as the foreground and the other is the pond being used as the foreground making them similar but distinctly different as well. The feeling I was trying to convey with these was one of self thought/reflection and pondering which lines up with the fact that the pond has a reflection of everything as well.
Shiny Sand
These photos were taken in Florida and consist of the beautify sunset on a beach near Treasure Island. I think these are really special photos because they consist of a completely different color pallet even though they are of the same exact thing. With these photos I tried to convey a feeling of hope and new beginnings as well as finding beauty in things equally even if they look different.
